Where We Work
 
Since its incorporation in 1991, Tostan has implemented its Community Empowerment Program (CEP) in over 2,449 communities in nine countries in Africa.
 
 
Currently, Tostan has operations in:
  • Djibouti
  • The Gambia
  • Guinea
  • Guinea Bissau
  • Mali
  • Mauritania
  • Senegal
  • Somalia
 
Previous versions of the Tostan program have been implemented in Burkina Faso and Sudan.
