The film, directed by the community of Diégoune and produced in collaboration with Tostan and Belgian NGO Respect will be broadcast internationally in February 2010. During the broadcast  Reflets Sud, Walking the Path of Unity will be shown in the middle-east, Europe, North and South America and Africa, spreading to Diola communities worldwide the historic collective decision taken by the Diégoune community to abandon female genital cutting (FGC) in order to protect the rights of girls and women.
